Hi, I’m Adrian! Thank you for visiting my website. I’m the Founder and CEO of AW DEI Consulting Inc. I’ll share a bit about myself. I’m originally from California and relocated to North Carolina in 2021. As a Black queer small business owner specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and mental health, I live by the words of Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.”

I earned my B.A. in Sociology and M.S. in Counseling Psychology. I hold various certifications from different academic institutions, most notably Diversity and Inclusion, from Cornell University.

Whether I’m facilitating DEI trainings or conducting qualitative interviews to evaluate the workplace climate, I lead with empathy, cultural competency, and kindness.

When I’m not working, I’m serving in my community, traveling, and cherishing time with my wife, family, friends, and my beloved pup, LaMelo.
